Randolph County Fair Pageant July 9
The 2008 Randolph County Fair Pageant is being planned for July 9 at 7 p.m. Chairman is Marla Stegall, 660-263-9033.
The court for 2007 includes: Tiny Miss, Preslee Powell; Little Miss, Cayden Gerike; Young Miss, Alexandria Delp; Little Mister, Cash Caldwell and Tiny Mister, Juan Flores, Preteen Miss, Kaitlin Cashel; Miss Randolph County, Lindsay Dickerson and Junior Miss, Jade Kiser.
Age groups include Tiny Miss, 3-4 years old; Little Miss, 5-6 years old; Young Miss, 7-9 years old; Tiny Mister, 3-5 years old and Little Mister 6-8 years old; Preteen Miss 10-12 years old; Junior Miss, 13-16 years old; and Miss Randolph County Fair, 17-22 years old. The new Miss Randolph County Fair Queen will win a scholarship for $200 along with other prizes. She will have a chance to move on to the State Fair this August, 2008.
The Tiny, Little and Young pageants will be held July 9. Practice will be held on July 6 from 3-5 p.m. for Tiny Mister, Little Mister, Tiny Miss, Little Miss and Young Miss. The pageant for Preteen, Miss Randolph County and Junior Miss will be held July 8 beginning at 7 p.m. Practice will be held on July 6 beginning at 5 p.m. for Preteen Miss, Junior Miss and Miss. There will be interviews for all age groups; times will be announced at a practice. Interviews will take place at Moberly Area Community College for Preteen, Junior Miss and Miss on July 8. Interviews for Tiny Miss, Little Miss, Young Miss and Tiny Mister and Little Mister will take place at Moberly Area Community College on July 9.
All contestants must live or attend school in Randolph County or have parents or grandparents that live or work in Randolph County.
Contestants for Preteen Miss, Junior Miss and Miss: must not have had a child, must be single, no divorcees, live or attend school in Randolph County or have parents or grandparents that live or work in Randolph County. Miss contestants must not already have a title that makes them eligible for the 2008 Missouri State Fair queen Contest. Winners must commit to be available to compete in the State Queen Contest. In addition, if chosen as Missouri State Fair Queen, you must serve one full year.
